I have yet to talk to a KSG Hater that has actually operated one , look until you load one up with a large number of different rounds available and actually go shoot it, how can you possibly talk crap about it , I have yet to have a single problem other than I did short stroke it on one pump and that was operator error , since then I rack like it was designed and zero problems and the 1oz. 2 3/4 Foster slug at 50 yards is unbelievabley accurate , I have literally punched out the bullseye so clean it look like a exacto razor knife cut it out and that was with a $60 red dot ! Amazing shotgun , but hey I have at least 300 shells through mine and rotate loads constantly , including shorty's !

Anyone rocking the Truglo Ignite? Got mine for $50 and wasn't expecting much but so far I like it. I have an Aim point but obviously they aren't exactly cheap and I love optics that take common batteries

Excellent review! I had the same extraction issues with mine. Like you I took a drill with a chamber brush and smoothed out the burrs. It has since earned its spot as a home defense weapon.

I have two PLX 1-8 ACSS and would have a hard time replacing either on with this version. SFP is downer, also the reticle is eh. Then add in the fact that you have to be at 8x for the ranging to be effective. We all know at 8x LPVO's lose a step......or two no matter what is said or how good you think the optic is. I also have a Razor 1-6 that I wouldnt replace with this because at 6x it is a lot more usable than another LPVO at 8x so the ranging is spot on with a workable eye box/relief. I love PA but this was a weird route to take on their part. I dont see anyone with a PLX ACSS replacing it with this, and I dont see anyone that wanted the original PLX ACSS in FFP buying this because the dot is bright, and giving up the other - in my opinion - more important features. My opinion - PA should waited until they could improve on what they had and not give you a completely different optic and say "we were able to put our fire wire into a PLX- Compact". You didnt. You put the fire wire into a 1-8x LPVO with great glass and you are calling it the same thing but it isnt the same thing. People screamed for a brighter reticle in the original, not a remake of the Razor. Imagine buying a car and the car had much better headlights than the orginal but they took away power steering, and electric windows - yet kept the same name on it. Doesnt make sense. To me this is an option if you wanted the Razor 1-6 and wanted the extra 2x which as I mentioned above I wouldnt do. Personally I solved the brightness problem on the ACSS version by having an offset red dot. I would have an offset dot regardless of how bright the LPVO was anyway. So for me its a non issue, but I still think this was a weird tact by PA.

I just got mine and love it. I bought a box of 2 3/4 #6s n #8s that I've used and had a ball. Haven't used the 2 3/4 slugs or the 1 3/4 #4 buck shot yet.

Pre shutdown I assembled an Aero 308 over a year plus to spread out the cost. I don't know if I overpaid, but I got the complete upper for $950. Later I bought the Aero lower, so it matched. Once I was done with the parts, and a velocity single stage trigger, it was about the same cost as the BCA-8. The 300 WM isn't much more, but for some reason the 30-06 is really calling to me. This example is a shooter right out of the box, and I would love to see what it could do with the latest long range projectiles.

well, bca has horrible QC, their ARs fall apart or break around 160 rounds, so likely not a glock killer...
